With a vision of creating a stress-free violence-free world, He founded the ‘Art of Living’ as an international, non-porift, educational and humanitarian organization in 1982, which finds its presence in more than 155 countries and 370 million hearts across the globe today and has become one of the world’s largest volunteer-run NGOs. Its educational and self-development programs offer powerful tools to eliminate stress and foster a sense of well being.

As a spiritual Guru, He has rekindled the traditions of yoga and meditation and offered them in a form that is relevant to the modern times of this century.
